Warranty, Refund, and Return Policies
Refund Policy
Users of the Char’d smoke infuser do so at their own risk to their health and their property. Legacy Goods assumes zero risk for the use of the Char’d smoke infuser.
Refunds and returns will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be honored for defects in workmanship or product performance only. No returns or refunds will be granted on customized or personalized products.
Char’d products purchased at retail locations other than this website are not eligible for refunds. If you would like a refund from a third-party retailer, please contact that retailer to discuss a refund.
Warranty Policy
All Legacy Goods Char’d products are handcrafted with pride and personally hand-inspected before they leave my shop. Because the items are considered artistic creations, all finishes, features, and functionality of the products should be considered aesthetic or artistic choices.
All Legacy Goods Char’d products are warrantied, for the original customer, against manufacturing and fabrication defects that negatively affect the usability or functionality of the product for 90 days from the purchase date. Items that fail in functionality can be sent back for repair. If a repair can not be made to return the item to its original functionality, a refund or replacement may be considered. To make a warranty claim on a Char’d product, please contact me directly at legacygoods@gmail.com or use the contact form. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges incurred to make a warranty claim.
Wood chip fuels supplied by Legacy Goods and the www.chardsmoker.com website are considered consumable materials and are not covered by any warranty for any reason.
Proof of purchase will be required for any and all warranty claims to be considered.
Warranty Exclusions
• Finishes, patinas, leather condition, and engravings are not covered by warranty. Many metal treatments and leather finishes may require maintenance to keep their original appearance. It is the customer’s responsibility to keep the Char’d smoke infuser functional after purchase.
• 3rd party items such as torches are not covered by warranty.
• Wood chip fuels are not covered by warranty.
• Damage from abuse or using an item outside of its intended purpose is not covered by warranty.
• Wear and damage from being used for the intended purpose is not covered. For example, the device may become tarnished or scratched during use.
• Shipping damage is not covered by Char’d by Legacy Goods . In the event of shipping damage, a claim will be filed with the shipping company if the item was insured against damage. No refunds or replacement items will be given until the claim process and recovery of compensation for the damage is complete.
• Items purchased second-hand will not be covered under warranty. You must be the original purchaser to make a warranty claim on any item.
All refund and warranty policies are subject to modification by Legacy Goods LLC. at any time. Legacy Goods LLC. is not responsible for any personal injury or damage caused by the purchase or use of any product sold by Legacy Goods LLC.
Shipping Policies
Orders over $125.00USD qualify for free standard shipping in the USA. (Subject to change at any time).
International shipping is subject to a flat-rate fee of $22USD. (Subject to change at any time).
Claims for lost or damaged items will be subject to the policies of the shipping vendor.
Items shipped internationally may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country, as well as delivery delays due to required customs clearance procedures. As the recipient of an international shipment you are responsible for the payment of all Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. All customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Product prices will not be modified for international shipments or declarations forms.
